Dr. Sean McNamara (series star DYLAN WALSH) and Dr. Christian Troy (series star JULIAN McMAHON) are plastic surgeons, best friends and business partners who run McNamara/Troy, a prominent South Beach practice. A seemingly conservative family man, Sean has come to realize that his financial success and perfect home can no longer mask the problems of his marriage.

Season 3, Episode 2: KiKi Christian and Liz operate on a female gorilla who must have a blot on her face removed before she mates, whilst Sean operates on a former thug who wants to go straight. Meanwhile, Matt discovers the truth about Ava and releases his anger on a transsexual he picks up at a bar.

Sean, Julia and Christian struggle to find a common solution as Matt spirals out of control. Christian performs surgery at his former fraternity house to help cover up a hazing ritual gone awry. When Christian’s open relationship with Kit--the sexy detective investigating the Carver’s activities--and Kimber loses its appeal, Christian asks Quentin to help ease Kit out of the threesome.

"Rhea Reynolds" Matt gets a restraining order against Sean, which leads to Child Protective Services investigating the welfare of Annie (guest star Kelsey Lynn Batelaan). Reduced to scouting nursing homes for potential work, Sean encounters Ellie Harkness (guest star K. Callan), an elderly woman who wants to look once again like her younger self in order to be recognized by her Alzheimer's-afflicted husband (guest star Robin Gammell).

Christian becomes the prime suspect in the Carver case after police find a damning piece of evidence at the scene of the latest Carver attack. An HIV-positive man who suffers from facial wasting comes to McNamara-Troy to have his appearance restored to one of good health.

EPISODE 6: FRANKENLAURA McNamara/Troy is in dire financial straits after Christian's arrest. Gina returns and forms an unexpected business alliance with Julia. Sean and Christian reluctantly become involved in the gruesome case of a man who reassembled a female corpse from the appendages of other dead bodies.

Sean leaves McNamara/Troy for the FBI, performing plastic surgery on those about to enter the Witness Protection Program. Meanwhile, Christian and Quentin face a question of ethics when a patient requests a leg amputation. Julia and Gina plan to market a face cream made from semen, and discover that Joan Rivers wants to invest in their product. Guest starring Bob Gunton and Thomas Calabro.

Sean develops feelings for Nicole (guest star Anne Heche), while Matt is shocked to discover his father has moved Nicole and her son (guest star Tanner Richie) into the McNamara home. Christian attempts to bond with his birth mother (Kathy Baker) and her new family. Julia and Quentin embark on a relationship.

After finding out that Nicole isn't exactly what she said she was Sean isn't sure what to think, but Nicole convinces him otherwise. Which is exactly what their business needs. The only problem is that Christian found out that Qentin is a cocaine addict and is not ready enough for the surgery. So Christian thought to bring in Sean for extra help, but Sean is still thinking if he should come back to the business or not.

Christian and Kimber put the final touches on their wedding plans, but an unsigned prenuptial agreement casts a shadow of doubt across the occasion. Christian and Sean are stunned when Matt's new girlfriend compares plastic surgery to the work of Nazis.

Furious that Quentin is dating Julia, Sean resolves to do whatever it takes to force Quentin out of the practice. Christian claims to be fine after Kimber's sudden exit, but his relationship with a patient indicates otherwise. Sean fears that Matt may be linked to a series of hate crimes against former plastic surgery patients.

EPISODE 12: SAL PERRI A jet bound from Miami to New York crashes after takeoff--and Julia's mother, Erica, may be on board. Christian, Sean, Liz and Julia struggle to save the lives of surviving passengers, and Sean must amputate the arms of one of the crash victims.Julia also got to experience some surgeries.

Julia discovers she is pregnant with Sean's baby, and considers an abortion. After discovering that she has black ancestry, Ariel (Brittany Snow) attempts to bleach her skin, with disastrous consequences. While performing liposuction surgery on a woman who plays Mrs. Clause at shopping malls, Sean and Christian discover a seventeen year-old fetus inside her womb.

When Kimber is found, abandoned by The Carver and having had all of her plastic surgeries undone, Christian attempts to fix both her and their relationship. Sean is blackmailed into performing surgery on the transsexual that Matt once attacked. Julia is plagued by graphic nightmares about her unborn child.

After nine women are attacked by "The Carver," Kit knew that he was getting very desperate and they had no leads on who the carver could be. Sean and Christian thought it was still Quentin, however he was attacked the same night as the nine women. In this very shocking and nail biting season finale we find out who "The Carver," really is.
